AM Interactive Software LLC ("ChatticaAI," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how ChatticaAI handles information when you use the ChatticaAI mobile application ("App").
ChatticaAI uses a local-only architecture, meaning:
- We do not collect, store, or access personal data on our servers.
- All data remains on your device unless you choose to transmit it to a third-party AI service.
This Policy complies with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, COPPA, and global privacy rules.
2. Information We Do Not Collect or Store
We do not collect or store:
- Personal identifiers (name, email, phone)
- Device identifiers (IMEI, advertising ID, IP address)
- Analytics or usage tracking
- Chat messages, images, or character data
- API keys
We run no servers that receive user data.
3. Information Processed Locally on Your Device
Processed only within the App:
- Character cards and metadata
- Chat history
- User profile info
- App settings
- Local content reports
- Encrypted API keys (Keychain/Keystore)
This data never leaves your device unless you initiate a request.
4. Third-Party Services
4.1 Third-Party AI Providers
ChatticaAI allows you to connect to external AI services using your own API keys. When you send a message or request content generation, your device transmits data directly to your chosen AI provider. This is a core feature of the App that you control.
Supported providers include (but are not limited to):
- OpenAI
- Anthropic
- OpenRouter
- Stable Diffusion APIs
- Other OpenAI-compatible endpoints
Data transmitted to AI providers may include:
- Chat messages and conversation history
- Prompts and generation requests
- Character card data and system instructions
- User profile name (if included in prompts)
- Your API key (for authentication)
- Your IP address (transmitted directly from your device)
Important: ChatticaAI does not intercept, store, or have access to these transmissions. Data flows directly from your device to the AI provider. Each provider processes your data according to their own privacy policies and terms of service, which we encourage you to review.
4.2 RevenueCat (Payments & Subscriptions)
ChatticaAI uses RevenueCat to process in-app purchases and subscription entitlements.
RevenueCat may collect:
- Transaction receipts
- Subscription status
- Device info
- IP address
- Country/currency
- Anonymous RevenueCat App User ID
ChatticaAI does not receive or store this information.

5. Content Reporting Feature
The App includes a voluntary content reporting feature that allows you to report AI-generated content you find objectionable.
How reporting works:
- You initiate reports through the in-app Help menu
- Reports are composed on your device and sent via your device's email client
- If you choose to submit a report, it may include:
- The reported content (message text or image)
- Character/persona name
- Timestamp
- App version
- Any additional context you provide
Important: Reports are only transmitted if you explicitly choose to send them via email. We do not automatically collect or transmit reports. Submitting a report is entirely voluntary.

Due to the local-only nature of ChatticaAI, we cannot take action against individual users or remove content from their devices. Reports help us identify potential issues with the app experience and improve content guidance.
6. GDPR Legal Basis
We do not act as a GDPR "controller" or "processor" because we never receive or store data.
Local device processing relies on:
- Contract performance
- Legitimate interest
- Your consent when sending data to third-party AI providers
- Your consent when voluntarily submitting content reports
7. Your Privacy Rights

You may:
- Access your data (stored locally on your device)
- Delete your data (in-app or by uninstalling)
- Export data (built-in export tools)
- Correct/edit data directly in the App

8.3 Content Reports
If you voluntarily submit a content report via email, we may retain that report for quality improvement and legal compliance purposes. You may request deletion of any reports you have submitted by contacting us.
9. Security
- iOS Keychain / Android Keystore for API key encryption
- OS-level encryption and sandboxing
- No remote storage or cloud syncing
Your responsibilities:
- Device lock and passcode
- Updated OS
- Avoid rooting/jailbreaking
10. Age Verification
ChatticaAI may prompt you to enter your birth year to confirm age eligibility.
This information:
- Is processed locally
- Is not stored persistently
- Is not transmitted
- Is used only for verification
11. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 18, and is rated for mature audiences (17+/18+) due to potential mature content generated by AI services.
We do not knowingly collect children's data.
If a minor uses the App, deleting or uninstalling the App removes all local data.
12. Permissions
- Storage: Import/export character cards and chat data
- Camera/Photos: Used to capture or select images for character avatars and profile pictures. Images are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
- Internet: Connect to third-party AI APIs
All permissions are optional and used only for user-initiated actions. We do not collect, transmit, or store any data obtained through these permissions.
13. Policy Changes
We may update this Policy for:
- Legal or regulatory changes
- App functionality changes

Material updates will be communicated through app update notes or in-app notices.
